| | Producteurs Plaimont are located at Saint-Mont, in the Gers, in Gascony....
Some decades ago, passionate and enthusiastic vignerons decided to work together
to reconstruct an old vineyard.
This vineyard should only produce the best quality wines in order to assure
the future of the vine in Gascony. They enlist only the best 'terroirs' and
plots ; they choose to use only the traditional grape varieties from Gascony
; they agree each year to sacrifice up to half of the young grapes so that
the vine can feed the remaining grapes better.
They also harvest in the traditional method, manually, in order to keep only
the ripest grapes. |
